Rockabilly cheapskate

 

Those websites that have rockabilly clothing for plus size bodies are soooo expensive.

With those lovely clothes in mind I stopped dead in my tracks when I found some tattoo inspired iron on patches not too long ago. I attached them to a cardigan that has been in my wardrobe for a long long time and made something that would probably cost me $100 for less than $15.

I love the results!

Sometimes when it's steamy outside and you're 36 weeks pregnant, the only hope of looking somewhat decent is slapping on a coat of red lipstick and hoping for the best.

I decided to try a new hairstyle too because I can't be bothered to cut my bangs.

Today I ran errands that included balancing 4 lattes on my hip and purchasing pink plectrums. My outfit felt a little blah, so I added this belt that I'm in love with and found at the Lucky Exchange and swapped out my cowboy boots for my leopard print wedges. Sometimes it's the little things that make a girl smile!

I dig the retro vibe of this belt. It was a good find!

 I'm getting used to my ginger hair. My mom hates it, but I think it makes my clothes really pop!

I love these so much. They're a wide fitting, have a wedge heel, and I could dance all night in them if I wanted to.

Sweeter than Heaven and hotter than Hell.

Ever since I saw Florence and the Machine last week, I haven't been able to stop listening to "Lungs".
I adore her insane ability to scream and howl and hit every note perfectly with such apparent lack of effort.

I also adored her green chiffon dress that fluttered around her as she danced.

A Beautiful Muse

I lurve Elsie Flannigan. It's kind of one of those high school things where she's the cool senior and I'm a dorky freshman and I want to be just like her when I grow up.

I love that her blog "A Beautiful Mess" is updated so often, when it satisfies my cravings for creativity; wether she's blogging about business, family, decorating or fashion I love that she is honest and brave and insightful.

Biker Chic?

Last night me and my best friend Leah went to one of our favorite pubs Charlie G's. As she snapped some photos of me to put on here, a Policeman saw us and thought that the photos would be better if we posed on his motorcycle, so we did! It was pretty cool, I'm not going to lie.
